ictQATAR is building a vibrant ICT sector and bolstering adoption of sophisticated communications technologies among businesses of all sizes.

Over the past five years, investment in the ICT market by the public and private sector has rapidly increased. In 2010, the total value of the ICT market in Qatar was $2.1 billion, and numerous market research studies indicate that ICT firms see Qatar as a potential technology hub and want to invest in the state.

To help companies and their employees adapt to this rapidly evolving ICT landscape, ictQATAR provides thousands of courses through its national E-learning Portal. These courses help government employees, ICT professionals and the unemployed in a variety of fields to enhance their digital literacy skills. The portal also offers courses for ICT professionals to further develop their technological knowledge base.

Local business leaders can learn best practices and innovative approaches to integrating ICT into their companies through ictQATAR’s Business Connect Forums. These conferences attract international thought leaders to share information on how companies can gain a competitive edge through employing ICT into their daily operations and overall strategies.
