Legislation, regulation and decisions

With Emiree decree Law No. 36 for 2004, the Supreme Council for Information and Communication Technology, ictQATAR, was established. ictQATAR's role as regulator and ICT innovator was further defined by Emiree decree Law No. 34 of 2006, the official Telecommunications law.

As ictQATAR continues to pursue its objectives, additional laws, bylaws, regulations and formal decisions will be developed as necessary, and announced to the public. This section contains legislation relevant to ictQATAR, as well as pertinent regulations and decisions from ictQATAR.
