Working closely with agencies and councils across government, ictQATAR developed a comprehensive strategy. The strategies purpose is to help Qatar achieve its national vision by integrating e-services into government's work to improve lives and drive economic process.

Three priorities drive all i-Gov initiatives: Improving Government Services to Users, Increasing Internal Government Efficiency  and Improving Governance and Transparency.
