Who is eligible for this service?   

Commercially registered companies in Qatar wishing to import electronic (non-telecommunications) equipment to Qatar. 

What is the approval process for this service? 

• The commercially registered local company must submit to ictQATAR's Technical Regulatory Authority an application to import non-telecommunications electronic equipment.
• The Technical Regulatory Authority will conduct an evaluation and approve or reject the application.
• The Technical Regulatory Authority will prepare the letter of 'No Objection to Import Electronic Equipment'.
• Technical Regulatory Authority will issue the 'No Objection' letter to the applicant.

How long does the approval process take?

Up to 5 working days. Customer will be notified by fax message/phone/email as appropriate.
