Who is eligible for this service?

Commercially registered companies in Qatar wishing to deal in telecommunications equipment and related activities.

What is the approval process for this service?

• Commercially registered company in Qatar must submit to ictQATAR's Technical Regulatory Authority an Application for Dealing in Telecom Equipment.
• The Technical Regulatory Authority will evaluate the application (which must include the applicant's agreement with its local distributor/manufacturer). The Technical Regulatory Authority will either approve or reject the application.
• If approved, the Technical Regulatory Authority will prepare the Certificate. The approval fee is due when the applicant collects the Certificate.

How long does the approval process take?

Up to 10 working days. Applicant will be notified by fax message/phone/email as appropriate.
