An easy online government-wide portal, Hukoomi, puts government information and services at the fingertips of those who live and work in Qatar. Hukoomi is one element of the government's effort to create a modern, super-efficient public sector. In order to seamlessly serve the public, technology is used across ministries and agencies to streamline processes and reduce duplication. The result will be a more accessible and open government.

Fast, easy government processes benefit all segments of the public. Whether an aspiring entrepreneur registers his new business online and obtains all required licenses in a quick and easy manner or a father obtains a building permit online so he can start construction on anew house for his family, Qatar's government is accessible around the clock to make those transactions possible. Over the next four years, more than 50 initiatives across the government will become part of Hukoomi.

Hukoomi is the centerpiece of a comprehensive effort to create a transparent, streamlined, modern government for the people of Qatar.  State-of-the-art processes increase effectiveness and efficiency, and help make the work of government more relevant to all.
